CURRENT COLLEGIATE TEAMS

Our team started spring semester of 2025, fun fact, we started jumping with no space and started jumping in hot racket ball rooms, after a couple weeks we found gym space! We had our challenges starting out for sure but we always made it work and had a good time. We had about 80 people interested since we started, with a good turn out of 15 frequent members that are committed. We have built a strong group of leaders to grow our team to it's full potential. We have had lots of good times, teaching beginner's and watching them grow, we have enjoyed lots of Chinese Wheel and Double Dutch has been our favorites to jump together. We like to try different combinations of jump rope like traveling inside long ropes and single ropes in double dutch ropes. We are looking forward to doing more events now that our team is built!

BU Bouncers was founded in the Spring of 2023 by a long term jumper from Extreme Air of New Hampshire, and officially recognized as a club in December of 2024. They meet once a week for either typical practices or fun jump rope-themed events like Jenga, Jeopardy, or Bingo. They love to collaborate with other clubs on campus to create relationships and inform as many people as possible about the sport of jump rope. Every semester they aim to go to at least one elementary school in the area to teach the students jump rope and perform for them. Their goal is to provide a fun and welcoming space to stay active!
